Boom Plate Math — Privacy Policy

The short version

Boom Plate Math collects no personal data, has no analytics, and makes no network requests. Everything stays on your device.

Data we process

Boom Plate Math stores only the preferences you set within the app:

Target weight — your last-used barbell weight, stored in app preferences
Selected bar — which barbell or machine you have selected
Custom bars — any custom equipment you add (name and weight only)
App preferences — onboarding state and other UI settings

How we use data

Preference data is used solely to restore your last-used settings when you reopen the app. None of it leaves your device.

Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using iOS standard app preferences (UserDefaults). No iCloud sync, no cloud storage, no external servers.

Third-party sharing

We do not collect, sell, or share any personal data. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, or ad networks in this app.

No ads No analytics No tracking No data brokers

Data retention & deletion

Your preferences are retained until you remove the app. Deleting Boom Plate Math from your device permanently removes all stored data.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch companion app stores your selected bar and target weight independently on the Watch. This data does not leave your devices.

Children’s privacy

Boom Plate Math is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. We will not make material changes without updating that date.
